Almost Forgot

I can't believe I left it out of yesterday's post, but I got released yesterday!!! No more Relief Society president for me. I have a total feeling of relief and lightening. Yes, I'm grateful for the time I had to serve, and for the growth it forced me to undergo. But now I'm ready for the next phase of my life (a phase that will involve a nice simple calling if I'm lucky!). I think my poor kids will feel the difference too--a less stressed mom with a little more time for them. I'm ready to re-introduce things into my life that I was neglecting for my sanity's sake: scrapbooking, regular Cookie Wednesday, yard-improvement, social interaction...and I'm taking up knitting in the hopes that by this winter I will have mastered the art of making cute hats and scarves for our whole family. I'm ready to fill my newly-found down time with constructive and/or relaxing activities. Let the Hallelujah Chorus begin.
